Monsoons!

Comes may last week and heart starts singing to the tunes of rains, and eyes look for slightest clue for the arrival of much awaited monsoon! Singing cuckoo, red flame bright dazzling, dried up trees, cracking waste lands, and scorching heat all sum up to the anticipation...

And the wait ends up with the sweet shower from heavens today as the sun settled down in the west, the clouds made there way in a close huddle roaring and soaring into the sky with lightnings marking the arrival of the MONSOON! Hurray!!!

Toothache!

Toothaches one word which can bring your world crumpling down, as you watch it torn apart in pain and agony...

As I lie on a most automated and sophisticated chair ever I feel my heart beats grow fatser with every word my doctor says peeping deep in mouth digging into it with his stainless steel instruments cold as ever, my mouth's wide open and so are my eyes staring at him hoping that he relieves me of the pain and agony sooner. My mouth gets dry and muscles twitch to close down as he moves very swiftly shifting from drill, to cotton, to suction pipe, to mirror, to clamps and so many steel instruments clinging in my mouth. I feel like my mouth is a construction site with masons on work digging, excavating, cleaning, plastering, cementing....

Disturbing Night....

Ever since I remember I have always slept quite peacefully more like a log, once on my bed. There are hardly few nights when I couldn't sleep properly, last night was one such... Very much like any other night I had my meals and hit the bed, no sooner I stepped into kingdom of sleep...

I was waiting with one of my very close friends at a multiplex for another good friend to drop in for the movie, we were getting impatient as show timing was nearing, we were trying to reach him desperately on the cell phone, network was busy. It was sort of funny the show timing was about to be reached and the screen gates were opened but hardly few people had actually climbed the ladders while most were waiting out with us and seem tensed. Something was bothering me more than my friend not turning up I couldn't understand what, but there was something I couldn't explain after a brief moment of waiting we suddenly heard some uproar upstairs in the screen gateway I rushed up leaving my friend down to check out what it was all about as I climbed the stairs I saw blood, people running, wincing of pain, screams filled my ear and from the darkness an iron rod went through my flesh spurting blood out of me I was getting doomed into darkness as I saw my friend leaping towards me I woke up startled to find myself intact one piece on my bed covered with my sheets sweating profusely in an ac room chilled...

I got up had a sip of water from the water jug on the side table, looked around to find my sister and mom sleeping on there sheets flustered I tried to get back to sleep, the aroma of the new paint filled me as I took deep breath and closed my eyes...

There were blurred images of people around me three or might be even four of them arguing with me, I was getting restless I clutched on to myself... There was someone from behind me telling them to leave me alone I turned back to the familiar voice but as soon as I turned back I was inflicted with unbearable pain of some metal piercing my flesh soaking me with blood I got up second time in the night to find myself more soaked in sweat and not blood...

I got up and went to the living room the sofa's were covered under sheets opened the windows and took deep breath in the cool breeze the trees were swaying in the dark night as dogs dawdled around them. I went back to sleep in my room with another sip of water... rest of the night was again filled with more blurred images and hustle rustle I couldn't actually make out...

I woke up eyelids swollen and heavy, end of a disturbing night in the fresh new morning....

Miss Sunshine!

It was an unusually bright sunny morning of September as I sat in BEST bus on my way to the office pouring over my One night at call center by Chetan Bhagat. I was reading how life was taking over the hero as his ex-girlfriend gave him news of her marriage, the sun was shining bright so I digged in my backpack to get hold of my glares. As I cleansed the lens with cloth I looked merrily at the sun shinning brightly out of my window, inhaling a lungful of fresh air I closed my eyes.

Bus stopped and I opened my eyes and there she was bright, pure, serene... bathed with sunshine... wet hair locks over her face few just enjoying there time on her lips... pearly water drops shining on her forehead through her hair black, wet, bright... There she was Miss Sunshine...

Bus moved but her image found solace in my heart deep within... Since then whenever my bus would pass the place my eyes would search for her, I did see her lot of times after that but the first time was something that appealed me and then she was truly Miss Sunshine!

One fine day!

Life's like one those roads where you just cant expect what might hit you on next curve on one such fine curve I met this very dear friend of mine. After I passed my secondary school with flying colors I joined the best High school in our town and felt on top of world. First few days were very uneventful with my new classmates mostly studious geeks, till that one day where my life took a very usual turn and a very unusual wave hit me. I was surfing through my subject book, and all of sudden something very bright and shiny caught my eyes, as a cool breeze went over me!

I saw through this a very beautiful girl clad in utter simplicity with a beautiful million dollar smile beamed at me "It's Chemistry class by Naik?" I smiled back and said yes, she swooped away with that to the last empty bench. I kept looking at her through the corner of my eyes she sat on last bench with four more girls. Five of them kept themselves busy talking and giggling on silliest things. The class got over she bade bye to her friends and came back to my bench, stretched her right hand in front of me saying "Hi, I am XXXXXX, Friends?" I smiled and taking her hand in my hand as gently as I could and said "Hello I am Sudershan". As we exchanged this words I packed my backpack and walked out of class with her to grab something to eat before next class. As it got we never went to next class but roamed around and near college for whole day exchanging words like old good friends who've met after long time. Thus, began a new saga of friendship in my life a very beautiful one very close to my heart but as it happens every beautiful thing comes to an end the life has taken another curve a very unexpected one and one more friends lost on way of life...

Love...

Love's a moment of countless emotions fear, anger, pity, joy, depression, lust, attraction, desperation,..... innumerable feelings.... just like a roller coaster ride taking you through the high and low of the ride bringing smile to your face but also an unknown deep fear within of losing the grip, such is love giving an ecstatic joy but with a deep felt gist of insecurity. This insecurity livens up the spirit of love kindling the innumerable feelings and keeps the two souls bonded with each other in the bond of love.

Love cannot be categorized as pure-impure, selfless-demanding, good-bad or any such thing, love is above any such categorization love can never hurt its object of love but it will try to make its object of love more adorable more beautiful showering all the love it has within and make the world beautiful place...

Love is most powerful and unconquerable emotion known by human kind since its origin be it the tales of love by Shakespeare in Romeo-Juliet or Kalidas-Shakuntala all of them experienced the might of love and preferred to live and even die up to it... This four lettered word kindles warmth in millions and billions of hearts making the world around us complete...

Dreams...

Dreams... Dream is a sky that holds clouds with golden lining and seven colored rainbows in our life for us. Dream is that pond in a secluded corner of jungle filled with milky white lotuses and beautiful multicolored butterflies fluttering over them. Dreams are like those wooden secret boxes beautifully carved and locked and hidden in an old almirah to cherish those beautiful moments in our life that belong to us and only us...

Yes, I am a dreamer! I dream of a beautiful life, pure and serene, I cherish losing bond free in this beautiful world of mine, simply beautiful. Dreams complete me and my aims they offer me strength and courage to move on in my life when world around turns hostile and focus blurs. Dreams make me optimistic and tell me there will be a world filled with all the love and happiness my beloved ones whom I always wanted to be with me through the thicks and thins of my life. My dream completes me associating with me all those and that complete me, make me the man I am.... with my dreams......
